Phil texted me to say a little offshore at the Dip so he was at the Fludyers. When I arrived it looked OK at the dip and reckoning the sea would be cleaner there with some waves at the spit I launched there. Unfortunately it was a bit offshore, and gusty; I was way overpowered in the gusts even when I flattened teh sail. I had some nice rides, especially coming in down some big swell, but got thrown a few times as the gusts hit me. Eventually the wind moderated and I had a nice sail for a while then it dropped even more and I had a 50m swim in. landed on my sail once and the harness hook punched a hole (oh dear).
